We keep this page short on purpose. These are large public hospitals with departments we cannot describe from the inside, so we do not try. What we can tell you is where they are, what we send them, and what the coordination looks like in practice.
A large general hospital on the north bank of the Yangtze, in Chongqing’s newer administrative district. It is the more convenient of the two for anyone flying in: Jiangbei International Airport is on the same side of the city, and the transfer is short enough to do on the day you land.
Chongqing is a municipality of thirty-odd million people with a hospital system built for that scale. The practical consequence for a visitor is that the departments are busy, appointments move fast, and nothing happens without someone who knows the registration desk. That is the part we handle.
A tertiary hospital in Deyang, an industrial city of about 3.5 million an hour north of Chengdu by high-speed rail. It is the calmer of the two: smaller queues, a health management centre in its own building, and a city where you are not competing with thirty million other patients for an appointment slot.
The reason we work with this hospital rather than a Chengdu flagship is pace. A screening that would take a morning plus two days of waiting in a provincial capital can be done here in a morning and a half. For a patient combining a check-up with dental work, that difference decides whether the trip fits into a week or not.
An honest note about Deyang. It is not a tourist city. There is a Confucian temple, a stone-carved art wall and excellent local food, but it is not Chengdu. Plan the sightseeing around Chengdu or Chongqing and treat Deyang as where the clinical work happens.
Dental and implant treatment is coordinated separately, with a large dedicated dental practice rather than a hospital stomatology department. The reasons are practical: implant surgery needs a room and a schedule built for it, prosthetics need a laboratory that turns work around on a clinical timescale, and a dedicated practice does nothing else all day.
It also means the dental schedule is not competing with hospital theatre lists. If you are combining dental work with a screening, the two run in parallel — the screening in Deyang or Chongqing, the dental appointments in between.
Both hospitals accept international patients we bring to them, and we have a named contact at each for registration and appointment issues.
We are not publishing a hospital league table. We work with two, we tell you why, and we are not claiming they are the best in China at anything.
Every clinical decision is theirs. Whether a case is accepted, what the treatment is, how long it takes — those come from the department, in writing, not from us.
If we start working with another hospital, it appears on this page with the same plain description. No directory of thirty names with a disclaimer underneath.
If you are not sure whether your case belongs in Chongqing or Deyang, describe it and we will say. If neither is right, we will tell you that too.
